We went to Victoria for the long weekend last year. It was fun, but the long waiting time everywhere almost bored us to death. So this year, we are staying. Hiking, shopping, BBQ… For those of you who are heading out for fun, have a happy and safe vacation!

It was beautiful in Vancouver yesterday, with lots of sunshine. Stanley Park is packed with visitors, and photographers with their wedding couples and engaged couples, including us. We did a beloved session with Bonnie + Adam and would love to share these two images for now. Lots more to share soon.

A friend and bride-to-be asked me to recommend a pair of wedding shoes for her, to be exact, a pair of wedding flats. She is a tall girl, only 1-1.5 inches shorter than her fiancé. She just doesn’t want to shadow the man on their wedding day with high heels
Besides, flats are just WAY more comfortable.
I’ve seen quite a few brides who pull off their wedding dress and flats look just pretty, stylish and graceful. I especially love the choice of one of our recent wedding couples: Toms Shoes. I am a big fan of Toms shoes. I wear them all the time especially on wedding day photo shoot when we are working/standing/walking/running for 12 and more hours. It’s very versatile and can be dressed down and dressed up. Do a simple google search online, you will find a lot of brides and grooms who went for Toms.
Emm… It really looks like an infomercial now. But Toms doesn’t pay me. So… anyways, just a couple of pictures to make my point.

The wedding season started for us last Saturday so we decided to take Friday off and spent the day with our little girl. Arranged her first play date. She was so excited to have her friend come over to our house that she skipped her nap. We went out play in the park and headed for ice cream afterwards. She even taught M how to say Dad and Mom in Chinese. Too cute!
